For many years I have been attracted by the stories of the Aboriginal Dreamtime – stories of the Rainbow Serpent and the formation of the mountains, rivers and forests. Lately, I have heard more such as Gundelia the source of water. I also learnt of the importance of the living trees and how they may communicate with each other and the elder trees teach the younger trees. I have used these ideas for a series fo watercolours and collages, This is Gundelia bringing water to the land.
